Morelia's FWB - 2nd Wednesdays 3pm at Club Campestre

Morelia Amigos, Friendships Without Borders meets on the second Wednesdays each month 3pm at Club Campestre in Morelia at the golf course country club restaurant and lounge on the patio. Guests are always welcome. Please come and join the friendship and fun. No dues or contributions solicited.

We are pleased to announce that our activities and membership have been at an all-time high this year. We meet every month on the 2nd Wednesdays at 3pm at Morelia's Club Campestre with informal get-togethers during the off-weeks. Watch here for announcements about our regular Club activities and our informal get-togethers. Most of these informal activities are often for lunch at various locations and typically scheduled on Wednesdays around 2pm at some of Morelia's best modestly-priced restaurants.

Two women's teams took first and second prizes at Club Campestre in FWB Bocce
Tourney today as a gathering of more than twenty Amigos enjoyed the warm and
fresh outdoor weather and camaraderie while taking moments to cheer on the
competitors.

Four teams competed at our FWB meeting March 9th in a simple elimination bocce tournament with two
women's teams battling for top place after beating out a mixed team and one
men's team. The top two teams shared a $160 purse.

The thirty-year FWB club in Morelia continues to enjoy its very lively 2011
format with a monthly extended get-together every 2nd Wednesday at Club
Campestre with informal lunch engagements at various locations in Morelia on the
off-weeks.

site for advanced notice of upcoming FWB activities. Announcements and reminders
of FWB scheduled events will appear on the Message Board and in e-mailings for
those subscribed.

Guests are always invited to meet with us at any scheduled event and become a
Morelia Amigo. Never any dues or obligations, just pleasant company and good

Comida at Solar de Villagran

Street: Rincon de las Comadres #7 at corner of Av Campestre Morelia - Col. Campestre Club La Huerta.

It is located just a block or two past Camelinas going toward Club Campestre. It is fairly well hidden by the trees around it and it's garden setting.

Solar de Villgran is no cheapie restaurant but should not break your bank either. This is one of my favorite restaurants in all of Morelia. It is located on at the corner of Av Campestre just a block or two up from Camelinas. Look for us out back at the patio tables to accomodate the smokers and enjoy the jardín and cascadas.
